playing with cubes ah-bräu
placed between the hotel from the turn of the last century, the brenner autobahn, and brenner state road, the new building is an addition to the ensemble of old and new structures. the ah bräu building is a detached structure, deliberately unfixed from the existing structures and yet referencing them. two different horizontal elements making up the floor and the roof bring the building together into one element. five corpora varying in size are placed between these levels. various open spaces result from these detached corpora, overlapping one another. the corpora vary in height, size, position, design, and material.
