the project request: construct three houses for three brothers, three independent volumes on a steep area. the proposal: three elongated building, one parallel to the other one, overlooking the landscape. there is no hierarchy between volumes, no rules, nothing in between. architecture and landscape become one. with their trapezoidal structure and sloped walls, the buildings lose their rigor and fit perfectly into natural morphology. the three houses share the same basement and the roof, finding an unity without losing their independence. each house is a variation of the other one. roofs are an extension of the landscape bringing the family together under one shelter.
