oriented two houses esslingen
in a low-density residential context, two structures emerge from a sloping site looking towards the valley. seven apartments, all with different surfaces, shapes and characters constitute, through a study of optimal orientations and shading, two buildings in which the characteristics of the single unit enrich the collective result.
the various openings were analysed in order to optimise the amount of natural light and at the same time to guarantee the privacy of the individual apartments.
the large green external areas on top of which the two structures rest are both a place for encounter and a link to common services.
